Beccy, Katie and Annie, It seems like yesterday that Annie was born and we met at the Woman's Center and played tennis, etc. etc. We were shocked and dismayed when we read Vince's obit. How difficult for you all! We have been out of town, so just getting a chance to express our deepest sympathy. The suddenness of it all must make it harder for you and I hope you are comforted by all your friends and acquaintances both there and here in Elkhart. Fondly, Dick and Yvonne Ransel

Upon hearing the news about Vince, I was immediately transported to a happier time. A Christmas eve in the 80's. Little Katie and Annie were all dressed up in velvet, anticipating the arrival of Santa; Becky, as always, bright and cheerful and beautiful and the leader of the gang, Vince. He was full of life and fun. I can't remember the specific jokes, but I smile anyway. Memories like this make life worth living. Family, warmth, compassion, friendship, fun. Vince had them all. I am truly sorry for your loss and the loss for all who had yet to meet Vince. He was truly one of a kind. God bless your family. Mary Method Evans
- Mary Evans, Westfield, IN
